Devices for elimination interimplative interference signals in fibers-optic communication lines

Abstract
The hardware implementation of the digital signal processing device for elimination the effects of inter-character interference in the FOCL is proposed using the methods of probabilistic description of mixed random sample selection. The model of demodulator adaptation is shown, which is reduced to calculating the weighted sum of 4 samples of the input signal and comparing the received sum with the threshold. The basic operations for adaptation of the regenerator during demodulation of signals distorted by inter-character interference are determined under specific conditions of transmission in the FOCL, which are formulated from the point of view of statistical mixture theory as a task of estimating some parameters of the probability distribution of the mixture. The structural scheme of the optical signal regenerator is given, the requirements for the time parameters of the analog-to-digital converters are determined, the simulation results are added, the procedure of digital processing for the adaptation of the devices of recognition of discrete signals transmitted in the FOCL is determined.
