Abstract

Informational and psychological security is defined as a state of protection of an individual against influences capable of changing an individual's mental state and psychological characteristics against his will and desire, modifying his behavior and limiting the freedom to form his own position. In many cases, a person, having certain beliefs, acts "like everyone else" as a result. To explain this paradoxical phenomenon, it is necessary to investigate the mechanism underlying such behavior. For this purpose, the article considers a mathematical model of such a mechanism and evaluates its adequacy on individual real examples.
The article examines the construction of a model of individual behavior under the influence of information, investigates a mathematical model of an individual's behavior by introducing quantitative assessments of his attitude to this state, investigates how an individual's behavior changes depending on the results of sociological research. The model of individual behavior under the influence of sociological information was considered, using the example of presidential elections, which provided an opportunity to investigate the developed model and analyze its reliability. The set of mutual influences on the personality, in which the problem of choice is solved, was studied, the social center that influences the making of the main decisions was considered, and the assessment of the role of television in the election campaign was determined. The provision of information security of the individual under the influence of sociological information, as well as the indicator of the dependence of family members on the opinions of other members and television, were studied, and the conditions under which it is possible to talk about the provision of information security of the individual were determined.

Key words: information security of the individual, mass media, mathematical model, sociological information, individual behavior.
